Chicken Makhani
Ingredients:
3 chicken breasts, diced
1 large onion, quartered
4 garlic cloves
1” ginger
10 oz. Can tomato puree
2 T. butter, ¼ cup cream
Spices: 1 t. ground coriander, 1 t. ground cumin, 1 t. garam masala, 1-2 T. chili powder, 3 T. kasuri methi, ¼ t. tumeric, salt
Method:
- Fry onion until brown. Grind onions, ginger, garlic together. Saute for 2 min.
- Add tomato puree.
- Add spices; cook for 2-3 min. Add butter & stir until smooth.
- Add chicken, salt to taste, ¼ cup water.
- Cook for 30 minutes on low heat. Add cream.
- Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve w/ naan.
