Chili Chicken (From: Deepa Shetty)
Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken breast, diced
1 large onion, sliced
6-8 green chillies, slitted
½ cup yogurt
Spices: 1 T. ground coriander, 2 T. plain chili powder, 1 t. garam masala, 1 T. vinegar, ½ lime juice, 1 ½” ginger minced, 1 T. minced garlic, 1 ½ t. salt, 1 t. soy sauce, 1 ½ t. black pepper, 2 T, cornstarch
Method:
- Mix chicken w/ yogurt and spices.
- Marinate for 4-6 hours.
- Deep fry chicken or cook on stovetop.
- Saute onions & green chilles, then add chicken.
