Buffalo Chicken Soup

Ingredients:

1 onion, chopped
1 red bell & jalapeno peppers, chopped
½ cup carrots, chopped
¼ cup margarine
¼ cup AP flour
¾ cup milk
¾ cup chicken broth
2 cups diced, cooked chicken
½ cup buffalo wing sauce
4 oz. process cheese food
Spices: 1/2 t. black pepper, 1/2 t. garlic salt, 1/2 t. cayenne pepper

Method:

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, cook onions, peppers, carrots in butter until tender.
  2. Stir flour into pan; slowly whisk in milk and broth. Mixture will thicken.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the cheese has melted.
