Baked Brie in Pastry Crust
Ingredients:
8 ox Brie cheese, cubed
Puff pastry /crescent , shaped
½ cup sliced almonds
½ cup dried cranberries
1 egg, beaten
2-3 T marmalade/jam
Method:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Shape the puff pastry or crescent dough into log with edges sliced.
- Layer Brie cheese, then jam/marmalade.
- Then sprinkle cranberries & almonds on top.
- Fold pastry into braided log. Brush with egg.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
